This article will explain how to recover data using Recuva after an unexpected power outage.
When Recuva starts, select the type of files you want to recover. These can be documents, photos, videos, music, and others.
Choose the location where the lost files were before the power outage. This could be a local disk, an external hard drive, a flash drive, or another storage medium.
After selecting the location, click the Start button to begin the scanning process. Recuva will start searching for deleted files on the SSD.
Once the scan is complete, Recuva will display a list of found files. Pay attention to the colored indicators next to each file: green means the file can be fully recovered, yellow means the file is partially damaged, and red means the file is severely damaged and may not be recoverable.
Check the boxes next to the files you want to recover and click the Recover button.
Choose a location to save the recovered files. After selecting the location, click the OK button to confirm. Recuva will start the recovery and saving process of the selected files.
Close the Recuva program once all files are recovered. This completes the process.
